margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpD3VmHi.jpg" alt="" width="463" height="293" data-znz-article-border="1" /></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>3、</strong><strong>考研失敗幾經(jīng)&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>輾轉(zhuǎn)gap再出發(fā)</strong></span></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>23年2月份初試沒過后我找了一家收費便宜的中介趕材料海投申請，一邊忙著分析論文數(shù)據(jù)一邊在3月底考出雅思6.5，結(jié)果就是23fall不管留學(xué)還是考研都已經(jīng)卷得不行了，最后在6月只收到了一份HKBU的offer。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>畢業(yè)之后的時間不多了，各種各樣的聲音也讓我非常焦慮，同齡人建議我先去bu讀書，家里催促我必須馬上考編考公，我慌不擇路地拿著offer去投簡歷找工作和實習(xí)，吃了很多閉門羹，負(fù)責(zé)招聘的hr跟我說：<strong><span style="color: #262626;">讀個研究生再來吧、二三線城市包吃住、銷售客服干不干&hellip;&hellip;</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>有了雅思成績但僅僅是因為晚申拿不到更好offer的我并不想就這樣將就，也不想再二戰(zhàn)考研，從長遠(yuǎn)來看一年制留學(xué)所付出的成本未必就比讀兩三年的研要高，而且高考和考研已經(jīng)失敗過了，為什么還要再把希望寄托于&ldquo;一考定終生&rdquo;呢？如果考不上這兩年在冷板凳上背書做題的經(jīng)歷對我未來的就業(yè)也沒有任何幫助。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>所以我在申研的基礎(chǔ)上增加了就業(yè)的導(dǎo)向，下定決心gap專心沖qs前100的名校，拿到應(yīng)屆生身份參加春秋招，爭取在一線城市就業(yè)落戶的機會，經(jīng)歷過23fall的晚申，我還是有信心在12月前遞交申請并拿到錄取offer，在之后的gap期里繼續(xù)刷實習(xí)探索職業(yè)道路。&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phph2AoUv.jpg" alt="" width="465" height="474" data-znz-article-border="1" /></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>4、</strong><strong>合理規(guī)劃地區(qū)&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>專業(yè)多元化</strong></span></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>堅定地專注于留學(xué)賽道后，7月份我重新聯(lián)系了老師做申請規(guī)劃，這次我們以港五為主申和沖刺項目，輔申英國qs前100的商科，8月底確定好選校簽約，不得不說和上一家中介相比，指南者留學(xué)擁有非常豐富的資源和專業(yè)的師資團隊，從前期的規(guī)劃導(dǎo)師老師到后期負(fù)責(zé)申請的主導(dǎo)師和文書老師，非常認(rèn)真負(fù)責(zé)地對接了每一個環(huán)節(jié)，不是直接套模板翻譯，而是細(xì)心耐心地幫我準(zhǔn)備的所有中英文材料做了批注、修改和整理，根據(jù)申請專業(yè)對我的經(jīng)歷進行搭配組合，最終定稿出結(jié)構(gòu)完整的CV和流暢銜接的PS，在10月底-11月初陸續(xù)投遞完成。整個申請過程是公開透明的，共享申請賬號密碼郵箱，方便大家一同跟進申請進度。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>得益于考研之前有進行過各方面的準(zhǔn)備，我的軟硬背景還算有機會滿足申請要求，我重新梳理了大學(xué)所有能用上的經(jīng)歷。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>1 </strong><strong>GPA</strong></span></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>本科期間我還是比較認(rèn)真地對待了每一門課程，重視平時成績和期末復(fù)習(xí)，<strong><span style="color: #262626;">盡量拿到高分保持3.55+的績點和85+的均分</span></strong>，在大三那年努力刷綜測拿到了獎學(xué)金。標(biāo)化成績還是很重要的，加上現(xiàn)在留學(xué)bar有越來越卷和水漲船高的趨勢，到我申請24fall的時候，英國的院校List等級劃分越來越明晰，申請港校也有往88+甚至90卷的趨勢。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>2 </strong><strong>科研/比賽</strong></span></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>科研這塊不算我的強項，<strong><span style="color: #262626;">其實很后悔大三為了考研拒絕學(xué)長學(xué)姐帶隊組織的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)創(chuàng)新大賽，我覺得以后不管是想深造還是去大廠工作，在大學(xué)期間參加一段含金量高的比賽并獲獎還是很有必要的。</span></strong>既然沒有大賽給申請做背書，我選擇從比較日常的科研、課設(shè)和論文入手，分別挖掘1-2段和申請項目對口的經(jīng)歷。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我申請的項目大部分都比較注重數(shù)據(jù)分析和政策研究的能力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>所以，在申請管理方向時，我著重描述了畢業(yè)論文、企業(yè)研究項目和商賽里涉及到的商業(yè)數(shù)據(jù)分析過程，突出運用spss等數(shù)據(jù)軟件進行量化分析的能力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>另外，在申請公共政策方向時，我圍繞大三選修過的公共政策案例討論課程展開，重點描述學(xué)到的專業(yè)知識和做過的社會調(diào)查研究項目，包括政策研究、問卷調(diào)查和數(shù)據(jù)分析，這門課的經(jīng)歷也是我在文書開頭提到的對于這個申請方向產(chǎn)生興趣的契機。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>3 </strong><strong>實習(xí)</strong></span></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>實習(xí)同理，我從大二大三參加過的日常實習(xí)挖掘出1-2段比較貼合申請項目要求的經(jīng)歷，著重描述了我是如何通過參與企業(yè)項目管理培養(yǎng)出自己的外部市場行情感知能力和企業(yè)內(nèi)部基礎(chǔ)數(shù)據(jù)分析處理能力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>4 </strong><strong>雅思</strong></span></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>備考雅思的過程十分痛苦，我斷斷續(xù)續(xù)考了6次，P人至暗時刻莫過于總是想著一次能突擊成功，結(jié)果就是考研前卡在6分上不去，考研后一直到10月份遞交前我都卡在6.5。我總結(jié)了前幾次的經(jīng)驗，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的小分優(yōu)劣勢很明顯，就在我打算把寫作和口語保持在6，把擅長的閱讀和聽力穩(wěn)定在7.5和7準(zhǔn)備沖更高分?jǐn)?shù)的時候，英國的offer、港校的面邀和實習(xí)的筆試接連到來，刷分計劃只好暫時擱置。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #262626;">雅思是一場實用性和技巧性很強的考試，</span></strong>費用也比較貴，最好集中在2-3個月內(nèi)多報幾場考試出分，語言成績直接關(guān)系到申請的進度。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpZuVAoZ.jpg" alt="" width="497" height="280" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1-2月份我選擇先接受格拉金融管理的offer并提交留位費，然后準(zhǔn)備港理工和實習(xí)公司的筆面試，確定實習(xí)后我自己又加申了港理mcg（公司治理）項目，年前cbs和mcg的申請狀態(tài)都變成了abc（application being considered），整個春節(jié)都在希望和焦慮中度過。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>2.14就在大年初五晚上看煙花的時候看到了港科mpp的面邀，港?？偸翘粑页鋈ネ娴臅r候來一封郵件。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>2.20我參加了指南者的模擬面試輔導(dǎo)，學(xué)姐非常專業(yè)地點評了我的面試表現(xiàn)，根據(jù)專業(yè)的錄取偏好給出內(nèi)容上的改進意見。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>2.21面經(jīng)分享：</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>①1.5-2分鐘的自我介紹</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>②why ust&amp;program</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>③職業(yè)規(guī)劃（分短期和長期，結(jié)合ESG）</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>④本科學(xué)到的專業(yè)知識（強調(diào)Quant能力）</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>⑤目前gap在做什么實習(xí)（銀行的compliance）</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>⑥分享所在地政策</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>⑦反問</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #262626;">港校面試一般在10-15分鐘，8-10個問題，2位professor輪流提問，一定要提前準(zhǔn)備，但又不能僅局限于背稿，要有互動交流的感覺，</span></strong>老師在篩選面試者的過程中已經(jīng)看過你的CV和PS了，所以最好能給出已有書面材料之外的個人思考。得知能拿到面試的申請者不算多，加上有過之前的經(jīng)驗，我準(zhǔn)備得還是比較充分，正式面試的時候基本上能夠流利準(zhǔn)確地用英文表達。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>3.7兩周后我收到了科大的錄取offer，果斷選擇放棄英國來香港：一是地理位置優(yōu)越，在這邊上學(xué)方便在大灣區(qū)實習(xí)，港三也是qs排名很高的世界名校，就業(yè)認(rèn)可度高；二是項目特色，了解到mpp是就業(yè)導(dǎo)向的專業(yè)，畢業(yè)生的去向也跟我的職業(yè)規(guī)劃基本符合，兩年制不僅可以讓我有機會參加學(xué)校與企業(yè)合作的科研項目，還能擁有更多的假期去實習(xí)，為第二年的秋招做好鋪墊。三是吸引力法則，香港作為國際化的大都市有著非常包容多元的文化，繁重的課業(yè)之余去迪士尼、看演唱會、出國旅行&hellip;&hellip;是我夢寐以求的生活。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>3.11港理mcg的面邀也來了，但是已經(jīng)選擇交了港科的留位費就回了一封郵件婉拒，至此，我的申請季圓滿完成了~</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
