</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>大家好，我是C同學(xué)，本科是英語專業(yè)。目前已經(jīng)拿到了港大和愛堡的錄取啦。很榮幸能夠在此分享我在申請(qǐng)過程中收獲的一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)和感悟，也希望能夠?qū)Υ蠹夷苡兴鶐椭?lt;/p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>01 留學(xué)是沒法算回本的。</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>大三下，跟所有同齡人一樣，我也面臨著&ldquo;八爪魚&rdquo;的困境，考研、考編、考公還是留學(xué)，最終我選擇了留學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">&ldquo;留學(xué)是沒法算回不回本的。&rdquo;</span></strong>在開始決定留學(xué)之前，我就明白這句話的道理。但我依舊堅(jiān)定走出留學(xué)這步路，這也很感謝大一時(shí)候我不經(jīng)意間的一次沖浪，讓我種下了留學(xué)的萌芽，這個(gè)念頭也促使我在兩年后堅(jiān)定選擇。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>說起來，留學(xué)值得選擇和付出的理由似乎有很多：首先是想<span style="color: #0086d1;">提升學(xué)歷背景，擴(kuò)大朋友圈</span>，與優(yōu)秀的人建立聯(lián)系對(duì)自身的價(jià)值觀和做事方法等等都有著潛移默化的積極影響；</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其次是在綜合考慮之下，申請(qǐng)制度這種綜合考量學(xué)生的升學(xué)模式，對(duì)比考研、考公或者考編的千軍萬馬過獨(dú)木橋模式，其實(shí)<span style="color: #0086d1;">留學(xué)對(duì)我來說更有利點(diǎn)</span>；</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最后也想換個(gè)環(huán)境，提升英語水平的同時(shí)感受不同文化的風(fēng)采，<span style="color: #0086d1;">擁有不一樣的人生體驗(yàn)</span>。跳出舒適圈、開闊眼見、結(jié)交益友等等在留學(xué)過程中收獲的這些寶貴財(cái)富都會(huì)相伴一生。&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>02 一年制更省時(shí)間。</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>那為什么又只選擇了港英進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)？對(duì)于港英學(xué)校的向往，與留學(xué)的念頭一樣由來已久。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>從我個(gè)人的感性層面上，由于我<span style="color: #0086d1;">高中參加過去英國交流的活動(dòng)</span>，在這次交換活動(dòng)中，我對(duì)英國產(chǎn)生了比較好的印象，希望能夠有機(jī)會(huì)再次體會(huì)英國人文的魅力，因此去英國留學(xué)對(duì)我來說是一個(gè)不錯(cuò)的選項(xiàng)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpSUFDCl.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>另一方面，從理性的考量上，香港也是非常不錯(cuò)的選項(xiàng)。香港離內(nèi)陸很近，交通發(fā)達(dá)，方便來回，飲食習(xí)慣也與我平時(shí)吃食比較相似，<span style="color: #0086d1;">香港相對(duì)來說在內(nèi)地的認(rèn)可度比較高，且現(xiàn)在政策友好對(duì)兼職實(shí)習(xí)的限制放寬，在讀書時(shí)也能積累工作經(jīng)歷。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外港英地區(qū)都是一年制碩士，相對(duì)來說也更能節(jié)約時(shí)間和金錢成本，更快的進(jìn)入就業(yè)市場。因此，我最終將選校范圍縮小至香港和英國。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但我認(rèn)為每個(gè)地區(qū)都有著各自的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)，無論是學(xué)費(fèi)、生活成本、就業(yè)市場、地理位置還是氣候，可以先列個(gè)重要性的優(yōu)先級(jí)，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">根據(jù)優(yōu)先級(jí)來選擇出對(duì)自己最有利最合適的。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>03 雙非背景不是翻不過去的山。</strong><strong><br /></strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>雙非背景不占優(yōu)勢，但之前我有說到從大一就有想過留學(xué)，所以我的優(yōu)勢是在早期就不斷開始為留學(xué)申請(qǐng)做準(zhǔn)備和鋪墊。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>01 </strong><strong>績點(diǎn)</strong></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>當(dāng)我意識(shí)到大部分申請(qǐng)者成功的原因無非兩點(diǎn)，<span style="color: #0086d1;">要么是全方位優(yōu)秀，要么是有一點(diǎn)極其優(yōu)秀突出</span>，又了解到無論哪所學(xué)?？凕c(diǎn)和實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷都很重要，因此我將我的初期重點(diǎn)放在了績點(diǎn)上，輔以競賽和證書，后期重點(diǎn)放在了實(shí)習(xí)上，努力將這兩點(diǎn)提升到較高的水平層面。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我相信沒有人能忽視或否定閃光的金子，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>雙非的背景也不是一座讓人翻不過去的大山</strong></span>，與其憂慮自己現(xiàn)有的水平是否能夠獲得理想中的結(jié)果，如何提升未來的核心競爭力才是重中之重。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpFfhI9f.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>從大一開始，我就認(rèn)真聽課，與老師打好關(guān)系，盡全力完成每項(xiàng)任務(wù)，努力保持每學(xué)期專業(yè)第一的績點(diǎn)成績，并積極參加各項(xiàng)競賽，抱著試一試拼一拼的心態(tài)，通過每一次競賽來考察自身水平，督促自己不斷提升。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>02 </strong><strong>實(shí)習(xí)</strong></h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>同時(shí)，實(shí)習(xí)也不能落下，由于傾向申請(qǐng)的專業(yè)主要偏語言、教育，實(shí)習(xí)崗位選擇也以此為主。其中有一段實(shí)習(xí)比較特別，雖然一開始是英語助教，大概做了兩三個(gè)月，但通過展示我對(duì)當(dāng)教師的積極性，以及幾個(gè)月以來認(rèn)真負(fù)責(zé)的做事態(tài)度，良好的英語能力和教學(xué)水平，機(jī)構(gòu)也將我提升為英語教師，從此實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷上有了多彩的一筆，也擁有了很多教學(xué)和管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)，所以我們要把握好機(jī)會(huì)，腳踏實(shí)地，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">成功也許不是今天或者明天，但一定是未來的某一天。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpLqjUW8.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>經(jīng)常有同學(xué)問我這個(gè)證書是什么、怎么準(zhǔn)備，亦或是實(shí)習(xí)可以在哪里找，但其實(shí)大家身邊的資源有很多：對(duì)于考證，很多大型證書考試都會(huì)有自己的推廣公眾號(hào)和備考公眾號(hào)，也有很多過來人會(huì)自己運(yùn)營自媒體，無償分享自己的備考經(jīng)驗(yàn)，但注意一定要分辨真假。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>對(duì)于實(shí)習(xí)，可以去嘗試挖掘并合理利用學(xué)校、父母和朋友能夠提供的相應(yīng)資源，也可以在招聘軟件上進(jìn)行投遞，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">但注意要準(zhǔn)備好自己的簡歷</span></strong>，不只是我填滿了一面文檔，還要學(xué)會(huì)針對(duì)想投遞的崗位進(jìn)行優(yōu)化，包括排版和文字，提煉核心內(nèi)容，讓排版一目了然，一下子抓住HR的眼球。即使實(shí)習(xí)一開始小平臺(tái)，如果虛心思考、主動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)，也是有機(jī)會(huì)學(xué)到本領(lǐng)，或者接觸核心業(yè)務(wù)。所以大家自主地去搜索、去了解，一定會(huì)有所收獲的。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>04 英專生雅思一定不會(huì)低...？</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>當(dāng)然，除了績點(diǎn)和實(shí)習(xí)，語言成績也不能忽視。我考過兩次雅思，從口語5.5到口語7.0，中間相隔兩個(gè)月不到。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpXU2iVN.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>作為英專生，聽到的很多評(píng)價(jià)肯定是&ldquo;英專生雅思一定不會(huì)低的&rdquo;，但在應(yīng)試教育的影響下，閱讀和聽力方面即使還不錯(cuò)，寫作和口語依舊是硬傷。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>第一次雖然閱讀滿分，但口語拿了5.5，直接把均分和小分拉下了很多，事后我也認(rèn)真總結(jié)了口語的問題：首先是很基礎(chǔ)的問題，<span style="color: #0086d1;">也就是語法混亂，口語很強(qiáng)調(diào)即時(shí)反應(yīng)</span>，沒有寫作上那么多的思考時(shí)間，那就很容易暴露毛病，比如緊張下he/she或was/were亂用；其次，<span style="color: #0086d1;">無實(shí)際內(nèi)容or沒有直接回答考官問題，</span>比如當(dāng)時(shí)考官在我說完又問了一遍問題，只是簡短點(diǎn)，后來我才反應(yīng)過來是考官?zèng)]理解我的回答，所以希望我再重新解釋一遍，但我沒有g(shù)et到。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>再次，心態(tài)的調(diào)整很關(guān)鍵。</strong>兩次口語我都遇到了印度考官，帶有比較重的口音，由于平時(shí)一直聽的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英式或美式，第一次考試非常不習(xí)慣，導(dǎo)致我第一題就沒聽懂，讓考官重復(fù)了好幾遍，給考官開場就留下了不好的印象，雖然第二次也是印度考官，但我及時(shí)調(diào)整心態(tài)，努力回想，將聽到的問題與準(zhǔn)備過的問題匹配起來，避免重蹈覆轍和時(shí)間上的浪費(fèi)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpedy2ZO.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>經(jīng)過反思，我也利用一個(gè)月的時(shí)間，將口語題目都細(xì)致準(zhǔn)備了一遍，根據(jù)自己的親身經(jīng)歷和語言習(xí)慣撰寫了口語材料，并利用<strong>指南者口語題庫</strong>來精煉語言或提升用詞，再加以每日背誦，在準(zhǔn)備的過程中也積累了很多口語知識(shí)，以至于在考場上即使因?yàn)榫o張一時(shí)斷片了也能利用腦子里的資源靈活應(yīng)變，<span style="color: #0086d1;">最終很幸運(yùn)地拿到了口語7分的成績。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>05 到我怎么就變海面了？</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>當(dāng)準(zhǔn)備好文書等材料、考出語言成績之后，也就差不多要進(jìn)行學(xué)校申請(qǐng)了。按照與指南者老師協(xié)商后定下的計(jì)劃，基本上申請(qǐng)一開放就投遞了，我十分關(guān)注港大和港中文這兩所學(xué)校，也知道<span style="color: #0086d1;">我申請(qǐng)的專業(yè)或多或少都需要筆面試</span>，為此投遞之后的一個(gè)月我都在補(bǔ)充專業(yè)知識(shí)，提前學(xué)習(xí)所申請(qǐng)專業(yè)在研究生課程階段會(huì)用到的書籍材料，盡可能縮小與&ldquo;大佬&rdquo;們?cè)诶碚撝R(shí)上的差距。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在整個(gè)啃書過程中，因?yàn)榭吹氖窃娌牧希由虾芏鄬I(yè)用詞，又是在有限時(shí)間內(nèi)需要達(dá)到目標(biāo)，學(xué)完之后發(fā)現(xiàn)我的英文閱讀能力提升飛速，為我之后入圍英語競賽國賽奠定了基礎(chǔ)，現(xiàn)在回想起來依舊讓我覺得這段經(jīng)歷非常寶貴難忘，也意識(shí)到<span style="color: #0086d1;">閱讀平日點(diǎn)滴積累的重要性。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpAttnRY.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>（為筆面啃書）</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>因?yàn)楦壑形南韧哆f，所以非常期待能收到港中文的筆試通知，可惜過了三四輪也沒有任何消息，但其實(shí)當(dāng)時(shí)港中文offer我抱的希望是最大的，可是事實(shí)上沒有就是沒有，于是我將重點(diǎn)放在了港大身上，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>沒想到投遞申請(qǐng)一兩天后就收到了面試通知</strong></span>，當(dāng)時(shí)非常激動(dòng)，可立馬又沒那么激動(dòng)&mdash;&mdash;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>按照往年慣例，港大這個(gè)專業(yè)一旦發(fā)面試邀請(qǐng)，基本都是篩選過，面試通過概率比較高，而這次<span style="color: #0086d1;">后來了解到是今年變成海面了，那就意味著通過概率變小很多</span>，競爭激烈，加之收到面試通知距離面試當(dāng)天僅一個(gè)禮拜，讓我倍感壓力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>06 一萬字的面試材料拿下港大</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)難得，我不想因?yàn)闀r(shí)間緊而錯(cuò)過，因此我結(jié)合指南者老師給我的面經(jīng)材料和網(wǎng)上資源，根據(jù)自身實(shí)際經(jīng)歷，準(zhǔn)備了將近<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">一萬字的面試材料</span></strong>，基本涵蓋了可能會(huì)問到的問題。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpsAD2fB.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>（萬字材料?。?lt;/em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>然而，只是紙上談兵肯定不夠，指南者安排了一次真人模擬輔導(dǎo)，有了輔導(dǎo)老師的點(diǎn)撥，我將面試材料中有問題的地方都進(jìn)行了修改，并不斷練習(xí)，很巧的是最后面試中教授也問了相同的問題。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>不過，面試當(dāng)天也是歷經(jīng)坎坷: 我們臨時(shí)得知，相比前一批次教授給出的都是比較通用性的問題，<span style="color: #0086d1;">面試我們這批的教授非常喜歡問專業(yè)理論方面、更加具體深入的問題</span>，有點(diǎn)像口頭做紙面試卷，讓我們措手不及。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但我深知自己過于緊張就會(huì)發(fā)揮失常，于是努力撇出自己腦中的雜念，趁前面同學(xué)面試時(shí)抓緊時(shí)間回顧專業(yè)知識(shí)，面試過程中確保自己聽明白老師問題，找準(zhǔn)問題關(guān)鍵，再開始有邏輯地回答。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>當(dāng)然，每次面試完都會(huì)開始回顧自己當(dāng)時(shí)的回答情況，這個(gè)那個(gè)都有點(diǎn)差強(qiáng)人意，加上我相對(duì)來說是跨專業(yè)選手，專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)沒有本專業(yè)的同學(xué)扎實(shí)，有些問題可能考慮地不太全面等等，所以當(dāng)天晚上非常焦慮不安，甚至錯(cuò)過了教資面試的報(bào)名，但沒想到隔天早上就收到了推研的消息，當(dāng)時(shí)欣喜若狂。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>第一個(gè)offer竟然是我的沖刺院校！</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>且此前許多人評(píng)估我拿到港大offer的概率很小，因此看到郵件標(biāo)題頓時(shí)讓我感慨功夫不負(fù)有心人。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>07 每一步都沒有白走</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>無論是申請(qǐng)前期、中期還是后期，都是一環(huán)扣一環(huán)，不可缺少。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>正是兩三年的準(zhǔn)備，我的軟背景和硬背景不會(huì)被淹沒在一大片申請(qǐng)中</strong></span>；正是中期簡歷、文書和推薦信的準(zhǔn)備，我意識(shí)到撰寫簡歷和英語寫作的水平有待加強(qiáng)，學(xué)習(xí)了STAR法則和各種文書格式等等，這些在日后找工作時(shí)就不會(huì)一無所知，距離拿到offer更近。更重要的是，挖掘過往經(jīng)歷也能讓我發(fā)現(xiàn)過去不足的地方，在未來能夠加以改進(jìn)；</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>同樣，也正是有了后期的&ldquo;得&rdquo;與&ldquo;失&rdquo;，我才能更好地、客觀地認(rèn)識(shí)到自己的&ldquo;長&rdquo;與&ldquo;短&rdquo;，也才能讓以后的我繼續(xù)突破自我、重塑自我，比如通過這次申請(qǐng)發(fā)現(xiàn)在科研方面的缺乏，那么我在讀研時(shí)要多讀文獻(xiàn)，跟著教授學(xué)習(xí)做研究，提升自己的研究能力，自發(fā)地去探索未知。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
