justify;">G同學(xué)去年考研的成績并不理想，并沒有考出雅思成績也導(dǎo)致<strong>兩手準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)的夢想最終破滅</strong>。因?yàn)閷ξ覀?lt;strong>指南者官網(wǎng)</strong>印象很好，在考出雅思7分后G同學(xué)聯(lián)系了我們，告訴我們希望盡早開始留學(xué)生涯的想法。即使當(dāng)時距離10.31日申請截止只有一周的時間，我們?nèi)匀粵Q定沖刺一把，推薦了<strong>南洋理工大學(xué)的中國與全球治理社會科學(xué)碩士春季入學(xué)項(xiàng)目</strong>，一是我們有把握能拿到錄取，實(shí)現(xiàn)G同學(xué)盡早留學(xué)的目標(biāo)，二是考慮到春季錄取申請結(jié)果出來早，不影響后期秋季的申請，算是<strong>全方位的打算</strong>。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">在拿到G同學(xué)的初期材料后，我們很快發(fā)現(xiàn)了問題所在。和很多社科同學(xué)一樣，<strong>G同學(xué)的實(shí)習(xí)實(shí)踐經(jīng)歷主要從事的還是基礎(chǔ)性的工作</strong>，在職期間沒有發(fā)布過署名的文章，也沒有很多值得一提的成就，所有經(jīng)歷僅用<strong>一句話籠統(tǒng)概括而且內(nèi)容基本一致</strong>。此外，G同學(xué)在<strong>科研板塊一字未提</strong>，認(rèn)為只有發(fā)表出刊的論文才算科研經(jīng)歷，而<strong>我們的經(jīng)驗(yàn)告訴我們2-3段科研經(jīng)歷是申請者背景中必不可少的部分</strong>。</p> justify;">針對以上2個問題，我們一是<strong>轉(zhuǎn)換思路</strong>，不強(qiáng)調(diào)實(shí)踐經(jīng)歷取得的成就，而是著重挖掘G同學(xué)在參加非遺社會實(shí)踐、海峽兩岸文化交流志愿活動后個人的收獲和感觸，體現(xiàn)其對非遺文化的了解，<strong>為自己后期留學(xué)生涯研究中國發(fā)展打下基礎(chǔ)</strong>。對于基礎(chǔ)性的實(shí)習(xí)工作，我們也讓G同學(xué)跳出工作內(nèi)容，談?wù)勗谡ú块T實(shí)習(xí)后對中國法律的了解、對中國政法發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀的看法，從而在原有的寫作技能、分析能力的基礎(chǔ)上，更加突出一個<strong>具備批判性思維和國際化視野的申請者</strong>的形象，增加與NTU中國與全球治理社會科學(xué)項(xiàng)目的匹配度。在科研方面，有論文發(fā)表作為背書固然最好，但在無法改變既有現(xiàn)狀的情況下，我們認(rèn)為<strong>暑期社會實(shí)踐同樣也可以作為科研的補(bǔ)充</strong>，體現(xiàn)G同學(xué)的調(diào)研能力，彌補(bǔ)申請背景上的短板。在將文書初稿給G同學(xué)過目之后，G同學(xué)十分滿意，稍加確認(rèn)修改后就全部定稿，定稿當(dāng)天我們便加急遞交了申請。</p> justify;">在經(jīng)歷了<strong>一周快節(jié)奏的準(zhǔn)備</strong>后，迎來的是度秒如年的漫長等待。幸運(yùn)的是，夢校offer如期而至，G同學(xué)帶著激動的心情，終于實(shí)現(xiàn)了她盡早出國留學(xué)的夢想，開始啟航。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p justify;">W同學(xué)19年年初的時候簽約指南者，由于起步實(shí)在太晚，當(dāng)時各學(xué)校offer名額已經(jīng)所剩無幾，即使我們過年加急申請，可惜最終沒有拿到錄取。但是綜合評定W同學(xué)各方面實(shí)力，我們認(rèn)為<strong>失敗原因主要在于申請?zhí)?，我們建議他嘗試再申請一年</strong>。幸好W同學(xué)也并沒有因?yàn)橐淮问《|(zhì)疑自己的能力，而是總結(jié)失敗原因，決定來年再戰(zhàn)！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">W同學(xué)本科學(xué)的是商科，但是<strong>多年的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)培養(yǎng)出了他對于公共事業(yè)的熱愛</strong>，使他熱切希望能在此領(lǐng)域進(jìn)一步探索。我們也非常希望能夠幫助他實(shí)現(xiàn)進(jìn)一步深造的愿望。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">今年的申請，我們主要做了以下幾方面的考慮。一，我們在原有專業(yè)的基礎(chǔ)上，<strong>建議W同學(xué)增加春季項(xiàng)目</strong>，盡量縮短入學(xué)時間。二，去年申請失利的專業(yè)南洋理工大學(xué)的中國與全球治理社會科學(xué)碩士項(xiàng)目，原名為當(dāng)代中國，<strong>19年秋季入學(xué)是改名后第一次招生</strong>。雖然可能存在審理官要求變化的情況，但根據(jù)我們的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我們依然認(rèn)為有繼續(xù)嘗試的必要，所以建議其繼續(xù)申請2020春季入學(xué)。三，香港中文大學(xué)的大中華地區(qū)的政府與政治學(xué)，由于去年申請時間太晚，而港校向來有早申早得的規(guī)律，<strong>我們計劃今年盡早申請，提高成功率</strong>。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">確定好申請專業(yè)后，我們專注于文書材料的準(zhǔn)備。由于W同學(xué)<strong>雙非跨專業(yè)申請</strong>，且基于我們對<strong>申請目標(biāo)都比較看重申請者實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)</strong>的了解，我們將文書的重點(diǎn)放在增加工作經(jīng)歷與申請目標(biāo)的匹配度上。例如兩年的“美麗中國”項(xiàng)目的支教經(jīng)歷，目前在非盈利性學(xué)校就職的經(jīng)驗(yàn)等等，幫助他提升自己的競爭力。另外，W同學(xué)的經(jīng)歷更偏向于教育，<strong>如何與社會問題搭建聯(lián)系，也是文書的一個關(guān)鍵點(diǎn)</strong>。我們從W同學(xué)自身的角度，也就是教育行業(yè)的一些現(xiàn)狀入手，以小見大，探討教育方面的社會問題如教育資源的不平等、教育管理存在的問題等等，從而增加與申請目標(biāo)公共事業(yè)的契合度。</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">最終，我們加急定稿文書，在10月份的時候投遞了申請，<strong>期間陸續(xù)有專業(yè)詢問補(bǔ)充材料，我們也迅速反饋給學(xué)校</strong>。不久，好消息接踵而至。首先是悉尼大學(xué)的公共政策，接著就收到了NTU中國與全球治理社會科學(xué)的offer~ 再過兩天，又收到了香港中大的推研！</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">相對于很多指南者的小伙伴來說，W同學(xué)的簽約時間是更早的，<strong>雖然有過失敗有過猶豫，但堅持最終換來了滿意的結(jié)果</strong>，實(shí)現(xiàn)了初心。希望在未來的日子里W同學(xué)可以在自己熱愛的公共事業(yè)領(lǐng)域一步步靠近自己的夢想，不負(fù)自己，不枉時光。</p> </section> </section>
